Now that we made the chorizo we had to something with it, right? Actually, the reason I made the chorizo was two-fold. First, I had made it previously and my sister-in-law Eva asked me for the recipe. Second, I wanted to make this dish and I sure am glad I did. 🙂
Do you like tamales?? We do. In fact, tamales are one of my favorite meals. Don’t these look good? They are but if anyone tells you making tamales is easy they are either 1) lying, or 2) have been making tamales since they were a child.
Isn’t this a beautiful cutting board??? I’m still in awe over it. Also, like most things on the blog, there is a story behind it – a board meeting story full of politics and apportionment of pork.
Osso Bucco, literally “hole in the bone,” is another wonderful meal for these cool winter nights. Serving it over some gorgonzola polenta takes it to a completely different level. Mmmm good. It definitely hits the spot.
So much food and so little time to post of late. Work, life and projects have been interfering with food blogging of late but such is life. Nonetheless, we always have time for food and this was a flavorful weeknight meal.
