This is one of Baby Lady’s and my favorite pasta dishes. What’s there not to love about pasta, butter, cheese and black pepper? To make it even better, this dish is so fabulously simple. From start to finish (including brining the pasta water to a boil) you have this meal on the table in less than 30 minutes.
Switching gears again, this was a lovely dinner. It was a very attractive presentation and wonderfully flavorful It was also pretty quick and makes a great weeknight meal.
What a delightful dinner. Doesn’t this look tasty? It was. But what is that green stuff? Continue reading Pan Fried Eggplant with Pork

Here’s another mussel recipe. I think this makes 5 different mussel recipes on the blog now. We just can’t help it. We like mussels a lot and this spicy Thai inspired dish truly fits the bill for a quick and simple, wonderful, evening meal. Don’t just take our word for it give it a try. 🙂 Continue reading Steamed Mussels in Red Thai Coconut Curry
Another easy weeknight meal packed with flavor. This trout dish has it all. You have the beautiful sweet, tender, flakiness of the trout with the crunch factor of the almondine crust, the tanginess from the fresh lemon, the saltiness from the capers with the earthy floral notes of the parsley. And to make it even better, from prep to dinner is less than 30 minutes. Wow. Racheal Ray aint got nothin on this dish. 😉 Continue reading Trout Almondine with Lemon & Capers
Baby Lady has pointed out I haven’t posted any recipes for Pasta as of yet. The fact the blog is only 3 days old did not deter her. So, this recipe is for the Baby Lady and the special place she holds in my heart. Also, if I don’t post it she is going to continually remind me I have yet to post a pasta recipe. 😀
This recipe is one of Baby Lady’s favorites and is taken from Sarah Moulton’s Sara’s Weeknight Meals, Episode 201, with minor adaptation (I’m an equal opportunity plagiarizer and gladly help myself to other people’s ideas and recipes. How else do we learn?). It is a wonderful, easy and quick pasta dish using feta cheese and is relatively inexpensive. The salty tanginess of the feta blends beautifully with the chicken broth and pasta. For those who must have some type of meat protein in their meal, you can add some roasted chicken pieces to the recipe but it really doesn’t need it. This is a full flavored meal that is delectable and satisfying. Continue reading Spaghetti with Broccoli, Crushed Red Pepper and Feta Cheese
