Isn’t this a beautiful cutting board??? I’m still in awe over it. Also, like most things on the blog, there is a story behind it – a board meeting story full of politics and apportionment of pork.
Osso Bucco, literally “hole in the bone,” is another wonderful meal for these cool winter nights. Serving it over some gorgonzola polenta takes it to a completely different level. Mmmm good. It definitely hits the spot.
So much food and so little time to post of late. Work, life and projects have been interfering with food blogging of late but such is life. Nonetheless, we always have time for food and this was a flavorful weeknight meal.
This will be a particularly long post because today’s post is more about technique and flavor. Also, while this meal may not be the prettiest meal I have ever posted it was absolutely delicious. Every time I think of rabbit I can’t help but think about Elmer Fudd and “dag nabbit silly rabbit!” Poor old Elmer. He never would catch Bugs Bunny; a good thing, too, because we never would have seen Bugs anymore. Bugs was always too crafty for poor blundering Elmer.
